Oh man, after I started my medication, for a couple of years, I just could NOT draw. I couldn't anatomy, I could barely draw eyes nearly as well as I used to [which I draw all the time and are generally super easy for me to draw really well], and everything looked emotionless and dead eyed, and I got SO fucking sad that I felt like my ability to draw was getting taken from me. It fucking hurt so bad. I kept at it when I could, and I recently had a big boost and was able to get a lot drawn and have it look pretty good, too, so I was soooooo happy when that happened. It died down again, but I know I haven't lost my touch now. I can still do it, I can still draw like I used to.

I saw a number of videos on different distributors and did quite a bit research on google, and everywhere the main focus is on one time fee vs annual subscription. However, I’m still not clear on the 9% CDbaby royalty vs others with no royalties. So if I make $100,000 CDbaby will keep $9,000 and let’s say Distrokid will give me my full $100,000? I think that’s a much bigger decision to make

For waves plugins the subscription model makes sense and is the way to go. Perpetual plugins are cheap at first but keeping them updated is expensive

It's crazy how these dudes talk that purist bullshit about using loops and stuff. I think they just don't want other people to use the same stuff they use. We pay for subscriptions which are royalty free and can use it however we like. Plus most of the ones talking that crap are wack or super average anyway. Some of the biggest hits are loops. Biggie/ herb Alpert rise, queen pen/ on your face earth wind and fire, biggie/ juicy fruit mtume, Eric sermon/ Marvin Gaye, LL Cool j/ Bernard wright who do you love and damn anything Bob James from premier, Pete rock, Q tip etc. I think that's wack of these so called seasoned producers who try to discourage new producers
